You're likely reading this because you attempted to meet your health, fitness, or weight loss goals and fell short. This is greater blow than you may realize. Why? Not because you didn't hit your goal, because you start to believe you can't hit your goal. This belief further sabotages you in your future endeavors and they cycle continues. But why did we fail the first time?
Likely we failed the first time for not one simple reason but several reasons. These reasons could be:
-You didn't mentally prepare yourself for the pain involved
-You had some initial success but didn't stay vigilant
-You didn't have a proper support system, or worse you had someone(s) who was sabatoging you
-You didn't keep yourself in the proper environment for success (don't go to the bar and expect not to drink)
-You had a moment of weakness, and instead of accepting we all make mistakes and trying again, you beat yourself up, put yourself down, and spiraled downward
-You fell victim to fad diets, gimmicks, and "guru's"
-You didn't really know or realize what the proper behaviors were in order to succeed (This is huge, and most people don't even realize what they don't know)
-You get discouraged
-You aren't sure what to do, see a lot of conflicting information, or get generally confused about what to believe about food and exercise
-You develop the belief that it requires too much work
And the list goes on, and on.
