Bodyweight Squat watch the video and perform 5 squats. If you're able to perform 5 squats you have the base strength to begin this program.

Ability to walk for 10 continuous minutes... simple and to the point. To start this program you need to be able to walk for 10 continuous minutes. If you are unable to do this see a physician and seek a referral for medically supervised exercise.
Wall or Incline Push-ups... If you can do 5 wall or incline push-ups we can build on that. These are much easier than the traditional push-up, watch the video and see. If however you do not have this basic strength there may be an underlying condition and you should see your physician.
Resting Heart Rate... Take your resting heart rate. This is when you have been inactive and sitting for 5-10 minutes. Heart rate needs to be 99 beat per minute or less. If you're resting heart rate is 100 or more at rest you may have had too much caffeine, be stressed, or need to remain seated and relaxed for a few more minute. However, if none of these apply and you are consistently getting a reading of 100 or higher see your physician before proceeding.
